Our Little One Is Here!!!

Early this morning at 12:07 a.m. we delivered a beautiful, healthy baby GIRL!!!! We were both shocked to see that she was indeed a she! It was a bit of a longer labor than I was used to and quite a bit more painful but the end result is amazing. I can't wait for our other eight babies to meet their new sister. She is still unnamed as of yet but we are slowly narrowing our choices.
Albert was amazing during the labor and delivery. I was pretty darn mean to him (okay really mean to him) but he still took awesome care of me! My friend Ora was also able to be with us which I was thrilled about...having other women present is very helpful. It's so comforting to know that someone else knows exactly how it feels. And several times during contractions I would look over and see her there and remind myself that she had indeed lived through childbirth so maybe I would too....still at 7 centimeters I caved and got the epidural. I don't regret the decision in the least. I only wish it would have worked a little better for the actual delivery. It did an adequate job of releiving the pain of contractions (exept for on one side) but it left a lot to be desired as far as pain releif for the actual delivery part. I'll post the whole birth story later.
We woke up this morning and had breakfast together with our new nameless daughter and I feel so grateful to God that he has blessed us again. The cord blood did indeed get collected and we are praying for a match. Our family feels so complete now with 6 boys and 3 girls...praying for a match.
I'll post more pics soon. We are taking them hourly...constantly is a better word. She's just so adorable.
I just wanted to get these up so you all could at least see something until I post newer ones. These are from the moments right after her birth.
I still can't beleive it's a girl....my whole life I prayed for a daughter and God has given me three of them! Albert is in a little bit of shock that it's a girl...you know he says us ladies in the house are "high maitenence" and now he has four of us to take care of! He loves her though. Watching him cuddle her is very heartwarming.
We're working on the name. We've narrowed it down and now Albert is picking from the final selections (because I picked Sydney's the same way so it's his turn...and plus I love all of the final contenders and don't want to be the one to pick one over the others!) We'll update again soon. Thanks for all the prayers and warm thoughts!
