Manny Made the Track Team at School

...yea!!!! He went through try outs all week long and Friday he found out that he had indeed made the team! He is very excited and so are we. It's going to be a bit of a challange fitting track season in with the tail end of a pregnancy and a baby will come right, smack in the middle of it, but we'll manage!

Also, today we held Brice's birthday party! Lots of fun with some friends. The Tye-Died Iguana (an exotic reptile store in Fairview Heights) came out with many of their pet reptiles and put on a great demo for the kids. We got lots of pics of the kids holding snakes, skinks, lizards, a spider and a huge, giaganormous roach! Gross! I'll upload pics soon- wayyyy to tired tonight. Brice had a fabulous time though and boy are we happy that the party was over.
Albert and I had a date scheduled for tonight. We were supposed to go to the casino but in the end, by the time all the babies were put to bed, we were just too tired to go anywhere. So we ordered pizzas and rented movies with our big kids and we've just rescheduled our date. Some of the older kids kept trying to have friends spend the night and we kept telling them "no" (over and over and over) because we were planning to be gone but in retrospect it would've been okay since we didn't go anywhere. Oh well.
Off to get some sleep. Goodnight everyone!

I would think that the last thing you'd need if you're tired (and losing an hour of sleep) would be having extra kids in the house...
Praying in Seattle!
I Peter 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot

Continuing to lift up prayers!
Psalm 31:5-8: Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth...but I trust in the LORD. I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities; And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.
