We're Home and Back and Home Again!

We got home yesterday afternoon...and today we had to return to the E.R. with Isaiah and Mia.
Isaiah was impacted again, and hadn't been able to go poop for quite a while. I had to take him again for X rays and another disimpaction. It's horrible for him. We've added a new medicine to his regimen.
Mia had to be seen because....drumroll...she is allergic to her antibiotic! She broke out into a big flat, splotchy rash all over her tummy, back, arms, legs and head. They looked at her and said it seemed like an allergy to her medication. They gave me a new script for a different one.
So tonight we are all home again. Feels good to be here. I was afraid we'd have to stay with Isaiah, if the disimpaction + an enema didn't do its job. We're thankful it did!
Dinner was a jumbled mess of bacon, pasta, mac+cheese and whatever else we could scrounge up. We desperately need to grocery shop, and we taken anything out to thaw before we we left. Hoping today is better than tomorrow.

Did you know you wrote, "hoping today is better than tomorrow"? Just think, these rough times make the relatively smooth days all the more enjoyable. Phew, when it rains it pours, doesn't it? Hang in there Angela!

If you have bacon for dinner...it's all good!
Now that's enough!!!!!!! NO MORE HOSPITALS!!!!!!!!
Still here praying!!!!!!!!
Revelation 21:1-4 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

I happened to come across your blog today by chance...and my, oh, my...I cannot believe you have ten kids! It's a beautiful family!

If I thought I could handle the pregnancies of 7 more kids I too would have 10...I love being a mother, but my body does not like carrying babies, all three of mine were early, so we are done.

Just thought I'd say hi...I'll be back to read more about your family and what it's like to have ten kids!!!
