Birth Day

Today will be our little one's birthday. We are at the hospital, we arrived at around 12:30 this morning. We have been monitored and I am hooked up to an I.V. (it's just heplocked at the moment) and we will be starting our induction very shortly. It was a bittersweet and surreal drive to the hospital, knowing it would be our last baby. Both of us were excited and we talked about all our year of having babies and adding to our family one by one, and then about how excited we both are to start a new chapter with a completed family. We talked about names, and about where we could get some good takeout once we were settled in our room. We have a really bright and spacious room, which is good since Anna and Lisa and my mom will be joining us at some point today and since Tammy will be here before too long. In less enthusiastic news, it took four tries for my I.V. and now I have three busted veins. Oh well. Such is life. I am super exhausted but cannot sleep. Hospital beds aren't comfortable and my back hurts so much. Maybe I'll sleep when the baby is here. Probably not. We'll see. I will update again whenever we can, depending on how we feel and how things go. Please send any positive vibes and prayers our way. We are so excited to welcome our newest baby boy!
