Mother's Day!!!

Here are some pics of my Mothers Day presents (some of them) and a picture of Sydney laying in bed with me when the boys brought. There are also some pics in the post below this only because the window closed unexpectedly after I downloaded the first three pics (such my luck).
Anyhow, we had a beautiful Mother's Day. I first woke up at 6:00 a.m to Albert bringing something into our bedroom. I thought to myself "Oh yea! Presents!" Albert then deposited my "present"in my arms....SYDNEY!!!!
A few minutes later though Albert took her downstairs and got busy cooking my breakfast with the boys. An hour later, he came back in with a HUGE platter of breakfast....scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, waffles, pancakes, buscuits with susage gravy (my favorite thing in the world!!!) and coffee and orange juice!!! I loved it!!!! The boys also brought in my presents...new maternityclothes, new pajamas, new sunglasses and the fun Mother's Day projects the kids made in school. Emanuel had made me a candle/candle holder out of a Mason jar that was then decorated with strips of tissue paper and held a tiny tea-light candle in the top. So awesome. Brandon had made me a flower pot decorated like a watermelon and that had a pipe cleaner with his picture on the top. Jackson had designed a book. This one was really cool. The teacher had written various statements and the kids filled in the blanks with whatever they wanted. FOr example it would say "My mom is special because __________" and each student filled in their answer. My favorite question was "My Mom is smart because_________" Jackson had filled in "She knows about pangea!" I tell you, he is stuck on Pangea!
After my breakfast in bed and presents I was invited to go back to sleep for as long as i wanted. Always a wonderful gift in itself. When I woke up, we lounged around for quite a while, then ALbert and I took a long, lazy nap together and then woke up and we made soup and hot sandwhiches for dinner. Such a lazy, yummy day. The only dissapointing part was that since Albert's car isn't running right now, we couldn't go to church b/c we can't all fit in the minivan. So hopefully the car will be getting repaired soon!
All in all it was a wonderful day. I talked to my Mom and sisters many times, Albert talked to his sisters...We called Aunt Dorothy who was spending Mother's Day with her daughters. Sounds like everyone had a blessed day. Perhaps a margarita would have really topped off the afternoon...but alas.. not right now!
