Clue

Last night, when I got home from school and after the 3 babies were in bed for the night, the rest of us piled up in our bed and played "Clue". I'm sure most of you all remember that board game from when we were all growing up. Albert and I LOVE Clue and it had been so long since I had played. I must admitt, playing it on the bed with five kids (including Brice who would have made it a challange even were it just him) was a bit stressful at times, but all in all it was great. Since Brice can't play, he's the official "Dice roller" and as long as he can hold the dice, he's a pretty happy camper. Jackson can't really keep up with it either so he is on someone's team- last night it was Drew. Next time we play, Brandon will be assigned to an older kids' team as well because he had a few struggles as well. He's almost there as far as being able to play by himself but not quite- he didn't grasp the need for secrecy and thus kept shouting out things and unknowlingly helping out other players (not such a bad thing when the game started to run long and I still needed to study). We also had to get onto the older two a couple times about cheating (even though at the end Albert and I cheated too..sharing our clue cards with each other so that we could bring the game to a merciful end for everyone- Hey, I have a A&P test today...I needed to study!) But the game was a lot of fun and something I think we'll do more often...
