National Honor Student

I wanted to share with everyone that Emanuel has been named a National Honor Student and will be in Who's Who among National Honor Students. We are very proud of him and hope that he's proud of himself. We will be taking him out to dinner to celebrate. He even gets to pick the place (which is a lot of sacrifice for a pregnant girl!) He'd better not pick fast food.

Emanuel is such a terrific kid- so helpful and so focused on success. He has excelled this year at academics, football, basketball and now has made the school track team and been named a National Honor Student. We are so happy for him. And very proud! It is exciting to see all the opportunities the Lord is opening up for him.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wonderful news!!!!!!!
Know I'm here praying!
1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Stopping by to let you know I'm still here, still praying!
II Corinthians 12:8-10 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Continuing to pray!
Romans 5:6-9 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Romans 8:18: For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
