Even Manny's Family

Since Albert started his new job, weekends have reclaimed their old status and the only block of uninterrupted, quantity and quality time that we have together. This weekend especially we are making it count, because next weekend, I'll be out of town! That's right, I'll be in Knoxville visiting my mom and sisters. I'm bringing Kambree and Mia with me. Albert and the older boys will be home with the rest of the gang.
So this weekend, we're trying to pack in lots of family time and lots of fun! This morning Albert and I are going to watch Emanuel's football practice. It's the first "official" one of the season that includes full contact- always exciting for those of us who love football! Later in the afternoon the whole family is going tothe football team barbecue. Emanuel reported that yesterday in the huddle, as his coach was going over the time and location of the barbecue, he said "everyone is invited, even Manny's family. All 20 of them." That elicited lots of laughter from everyone. So, later on...all TWELVE of us will pack up and head to the park. The kids will love it. So will Emanuel!
Hopefully the rest of the weekend will be quiet and cozy. I have lots of laundry and packing to do, as well as laying out outfits for the twins and Sydney so that Daddy won't have to think too much about it. Stocking a few dinners in the freezer isn't a bad idea either.
I can't wait to be on the road to Knoxville. But right now, I'm loving this couple of days with my family. I'll be gone a week, so I will miss them lots...and I'm ready to pack in lots of cuddles and hugs today and tomorrow!

Know you're going to have a terrific time!
Here praying as always!
Psalms 18:28-30 For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall. As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
