Things That Make Me Feel Satisfied and Happy

Butterballs and fudge are made, and my oldest three kids are gathered around the kitchen table playing cards with my mom. This totally rocks.

Yesterday the twins had a pediatric checkup and while the nurse was examining Alexandria, she suddenly quipped, "Your teeth are yellow!" I was so mortified. That did NOT rock.

I have shopped and wrapped and wrapped and shopped and picked up groceries for the next few days. I am now completely done. Albert went out this evening and picked up a bottle of wine for tomorrow night. We are officially DONE. That feels amazing. And cozy.

School is out for the kids and myself, which feels totally fabulous. In so many ways.

Did I mention that my mom is here?

Laundry is tumbling in the dryer, spinning in the washer. Mia is sleeping peacefully in her crib and the other littles are in their rooms for the night (though I can hear them still playing so they aren't exactly asleep yet.)

The older kids got super cute hair cuts tonight. They are so handsome.
