Is it possible to ALREADY be sick of being pregnant???

Okay, I know I've discussed with many of you before the fact that I'm getting a wee bit sick of being constantly pregnant. The first and second halves of pregnancy each have their own pros and cons and as such they both basically stink but each for an entirely different set of reasons.
I know that some women feel great during pregnancy- they glow, they feel energized and love every second of it. I am NOT one of those people. I like all the abstract parts of pregnancy- the planning and dreaming, the picking out names and probably most of all- the eating and shopping (both of which I justify in very large amounts). But physically....I am CONSTANTLY tired. I mean tired as in if I could, I would follow a newborn's sleep schedule. I'm ready for a nap about an hour or two after I wake up. Often what I eat is followed by a feeling that it won't be staying down (though I must admit, this feeling is much less than what it has been in other pregnancies). I am cranky, lazy, in a permanent bad mood and just generally feel like I'm trying to recover from the flu. Considering that I'm only 10 weeks pregnant, experience tells me that I have about another 4-5 weeks before things improve on that end. Then this set of symptoms will quickly be replaced by aching bones, muscles, joints, the constant urge to pee and the inability to sleep. The tiredness will never leave. Not until the baby is born and turns about 4 months time (about the time at which I usually discover, at least for the last two years I'm pregnant yet again and the cycle starts anew!) I tell you, I've been pregnant and thus FAT for the past three springs. I feel as though I'll never have a cute spring wardrobe that isn't from Motherhood Maternity again.
There are some positive aspects to being a human incubator. Fun point #1- Albert spoils me EVEN MORE than normal, if that is possible. I get every little thing I want. every. little. thing. That can never be bad. I also automatically win EVERY spousal argument. Who wants to upset a pregnant Woman??? No matter how wrong I may be Albert says the magic words "You're right honey. I'm sorry" Sometimes I secretly snicker...cause I KNOW I'm wrong! Usually, Albert will call my sister Katie and vent. Okay sometimes this happens when I'm not pregnant. (Albert and Katie are like twin souls...they view the world the same way and naturally agree with each other on most things. This is why Albert seeks out her opinion...he KNOWS it will be in line with his own! I tell you, its a darn thing for the world that Albert didn't marry her!)
Fun Point #2- Lots of naps at inexcusable times of the day. I've been known more than a few times to go to bed as soon as Albert gets home from work...at 3:30 pm.
Fun Point #3- Albert knows that almost unfailingly when we are out running around...I'll need to pull over at McDonalds or some other yummy place for food....If I don't he'll be stopping for a bathroom so I can throw up. If I get the food too late...same result... So he moves quickly when I tell him I need food.
All in all, I completely respect the amazing thing my body is doing. It is creating a new life from the ground up and I think it wonderous that God made the female body perfectly able to accomplish this task. And it should be noted that when I say this, I don't mean for a second that women who are unable to carry a child are in anyway imperfect. Just that the design for how a fetus is grown is amazing to behold. I just wish it FELT a little better and in the midst of it, I was a little more able to enjoy it. I know many women who have suffered losses and I'm sure my vent on the miseries of pregnancy probably seem pretty pathetic to them and I agree totally. I haven't forgotte how fortunate we are that God's will has been to fill our family with children. I could certainally think of a lot worse fates.
I think my body is just really wearing down from the fact that this is the fourth pregancy since 2005. And one of those pregnancies was a set of twins.
Okay, enough whinning for the morning. Babies are starting to wake up and start their day. And Brice is already in rare form....

OH Ang! I think even if you hadn't been pregnant so much in such a small amount of time you would be tired. I swear, no one has energy when they have toddler & teenagers at the same time. Just not possible! They suck it right out of you. LOL
Hope the next 4 weeks go by quickly!

Oh Ang, even when you are tired of being pregnant you still make me giggle. I love that you are winning all arguments, getting everything you want and have Albert practically bowing down to you LOL. Hang in there hon, you are doing great.

Sorry you are feeling cruddy, pregnancy is hard! I am also not one of those glowing pregnant people (they in fact make me sick). Its funny because Jas and I were talking last night about this and I realized I have been pregnant at least part of the year, every year, since 2002 (and also nursing at least part of the year every year since 2003..soon to be this year as well). I feel very blessed as well but the feeling of I just want my body to be my own again is overwhelming at times (esp. since this pregnancy was huge shocker), so I get it! You are amazing and I mean that!!!

Ang - I love your honesty...and your ability to look on the bright side (naps, winning disagreements, lots of McD's!) You are an amazing woman doing amazing things for your children! Hopefully this baby will match and by next summer you can be on the beach in a bikini...or at least a non-maternity tankini?!
