Last night, we succeeded in getting every single kid to bed at a decent hour and were able to get out for just a couple hours for a well deserved DATE NIGHT! It was just a simple date, down to a small Mexican resteraunt just a couple miles from our house here in town. It was so nice to just sit there and munch on some chips and salsa with no little fingers digging in and spilling salsa all over the table, tipping over drinks and dropping lettuce on the floor.
Just the two of us, talking, eating, drinking and NOT having to hold babies and shush loud kids! Alas too soon, it was time to get back to reality...plus the resteraunt was trying to close. I had to get home to study....Albert had to get to bed as he had work the next morning.
So nice while it lasted. Maybe Saturday, the day of our ultrasound, we'll get another chance...the ultrasound office just changed their policy to "No kids allowed" so looks like we cant' take any little ones with us!

Ok, so what the heck??? No kids are allowed in for the u/s? That is horrible! Why the heck not???
